Guilty Until Proven Innocent

This is completely undisguised totalitarianism.  [More]

That Woodruff didn't stop her right there and challenge that as the stuff of tyranny tells us much.

It's just mind-boggling, how evil this creature is. That and how much she looks like Zira.

  1. FYI: for newcomers to the War on Guns and some reminders for the old heads.

Dianne Feinstein is a United States Senator from California. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Stanford University. The woman has been awarded five honorary doctorates from 5 different colleges and universities and an honorary law degree from Golden State University. She has served on the Senate judiciary committee continuously since 1993. Someone with a degree in history, all those “honorary degrees”, and 23 years on the Senate Judiciary Committee would be presumed to have at least a passing knowledge and understanding of the documents and events that motivated the establishment of our united States as well as a working knowledge of a number of legal terms to include: “Presumption of Innocence” and “Due Process”.

“The presumption of innocence is a staple of Anglo-American common law, except in Feinstein-Land. She states, that Americans shall “petition to prove they are innocent and get off of the ‘watchlist.’ That is, the arbitrary, totalitarian ‘watchlist’ that the United States government randomly assembles by way of secret evidence and uncorroborated sources and information based on the low standards of ‘reasonable suspicion.’” - Karen De Coster, via LewRockwell.com

If you happen to be on one of the government’s many “watchlists” you will not know it until you are; standing in a gun shop waiting for the clerk to complete your background check so that you may purchase a firearm, standing in line at an airport waiting for TSA agents to complete their grope search of you and your belongings, or being informed by your bank that the government has frozen your accounts and the bank employees are forbidden by law to tell you why.

You are presumed to be guilty without trial, your right to due process has been ignored, and you are virtually helpless to do a damn thing about it.

  2. Petition the secret court? What's the going rate for lawyers these days? $200/hour? More? Yeah... no problem there.
