The deadliest mass shooting (among other things) was the siege at Waco Texas. But this was certainly close. Too bad most, if not all of those in attendance would never have armed themselves regardless of the "law." The sad part is that most of them never dreamed they could be a risk, since these things always happen to "other people. Even sadder is the probability that this false state of mind won't change much even after such graphic proof that they are wrong. Because guns, of course.
Good grief, forget Waco as the biggest anything. After thinking about it a few minutes, it is obvious the US government has killed millions of innocents, often in very large numbers.
What role did the "gun free zone" thing play in this. I don't know. I suspect most of the unarmed victims chose to be that way, one way or another. I hope they, and many others, choose better from now on.
