Same old story. Around 40 or 50 yrs. ago Allentown used to be a decent, not too big, city. In the 70s & 80s unions put the screws to Mack truck, GE, Bethlehem Steel, etc. & the downward spiral started. The last time I was thru there it was pretty much a shithole like a northern suburb of Philthydelphia. Not as bad as Detroit, but give them time.
