As for that bodyguard thang, I wouldn't begrudge him access to whatever means of personal defense he deems appropriate except for him making things more difficult for those not in his strata.

I guess the fact that this guy is one of the richest oligarchs in the world is something I just can't wrap my value-based sensibilities around. I keep coming back to  a grammar school sentence that places me firmly in a different age, because our masters act like we've evolved beyond such basics:

Oil, steel, and wheat — these are the sinews of industrialization.

Good thing we don't need industrialization any more, especially since my factory worker and foreman/manager years are far behind me.
