In the thread of this 'AK Forum' was a post that contained this story-
"In 2010, a 15-year-old Texas boy used his father's AR-15 to defend himself and his 12yo sister when they were home alone one afternoon and two home invaders attacked their house."
I remember this story. It warmed my heart that this young man (a deputy's son) possibly saved his and his sister's lives that day. It's interesting to note that a linked-to video about the story from a local Houston (CBS) television station has been removed.
