  1. "[P]ublic comments like the ones that Justice Ginsburg made could be seen as grounds for her to recuse herself from cases involving a future Trump administration. ... [It] could invite challenges to her impartiality based on her public comments."

In what court might one make such a challenge? SCOTUS is the ultimate court of appeals in our "republic". There is none! The WaPo article mentioned that in 2004, a lower-court judge was forced to apologize for appearing to advocate against Bush's reelection. Clearly the judge was forced to do so by a HIGHER COURT. But there is no higher court than SCOTUS. The Justices are ABOVE any such mundane concerns.

The Dutchman has written about "losing the mandate of heaven". This is exactly how such mandate is lost. The Left is like a horse with the bit in its teeth. I fear there is no stopping it short of a bullet in its brain. The scary thought for me is that the elites don't GIVE a good goddam about what we peed-ons think any more. Perhaps someone needs to remind them that the ratio of "indians" to "chiefs" always favors the indians.

  4. The "Mandate of Heaven" simile was first employed, AIUI
by the indomitable "Subotai Bahadur" at the PJM blog
The Belmont Club and other online forums.

The BC commentariat seems to have dispersed following
yet another revamping of PJM and there are few sites I
    would miss more.

This overt partisanship is I fear a harbinger of
    more to come.

  5. Crooked judge, "Ratface Ruthie", should be in the Dick Tracy Museum's Villains Gallery, along with other female criminals, such as Zora Arson, Black Pearl, Sugar, Texie Garcia, and the Summer Sisters.
