NIMBY

Jefferson County says their research shows 32 percent of their residents own a gun, but the closest range to shoot safely is at least 35 miles away. [More]
I don't suppose it strikes the naysayers that this means their precious "Only Ones" guardians aren't regularly practicing either...

    There are dozens of safe ranges closer than 35 miles to Arvada, CO. Indoor ranges, outdoor ranges, even one called "Arvada Rifle & Pistol Club."

    They're not free, though.
