Wishful Thinking

American gun ownership drops to lowest in nearly 40 years [More]
I wonder if they asked anybody who has a different experience...

Christopher Ingraham, eh?

  1. A poll conducted by CBS News that claims gun ownership is falling?

Isn't the president of CBS News David Rhodes, brother of Obama's National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes? Didn't Ben admit he lied to the White House Press Corps about the Iran nuke deal because (his words) "they literally know nothing"?

Apparently brother David holds the same low opinion of the American people.

  2. When I tell the pollsters that I charge minimum $100/hr or any part thereof for my opinion they hang up right quick. I will never be represented in any poll on any topic.

  3. Lies, damned lies, & Christopher Ingraham.

  4. The survey does not necessary accurately reflect household gun ownership but it does reflect, with 100 percent accuracy, the willingness of respondents to answer the question in the affirmative.

So, not insignificantly, less people said yes.

  5. The "reduced gun ownership" meme has been one of the Marxist Gun Confiscation Lobby's favorite claims for over 20 years.

It is, of course, no more true today than it was when first used.

Between 100 and 120 million gun owners have between 600 and 750 million firearms in their possession. I don't expect that to go down at all.

  6. I read with amusement several commenters made that mentioned "journalism". This lap dog is no journalist, he is properly a "propagandist". He is being used by his owners for a job (that of creating propaganda) to control the masses. They are the fascist. He will do as they say or he will end up in the shredder along with the rest of the no bodies. Nothing more than a coward that does not measure up to the great journalist of history. Ken

  7. No doubt that everyone contacted about gun ownership by SeeBS would instantly tell the alleged pollster the truth about whether or not they own a gun.

  8. Fewer households? Huh? Those of us who own guns own more of them than ever. Frankly, I've become a Jeff Foxworthy joke. You might be a redneck if you have 15 guns in your 7-gun gun safe? Got me!

  9. I believe the American people are waking up and when asked if they have guns in their home say, no. Not only do they have guns and say that they don't have any guns. But the reason is, because they know that the media and liberal anti-second Amendment nazis work together and are they not going to chance their freedom and their guns.

  10. Really? A random unknown person called on the phone, and fewer people were willing to answer extremely personal questions about their private property than in previous years?

    Really?

Wow. Who'd have imagined such a result in this day and age?

  11. It’s as if they see some value in lying to the people who already think like them. Certainly nobody else is reading their fishwrap.

So misinformed progressives will be inclined to underestimate the prevalence of armed citizens in America? Whoo, someday soon it’s gonna suck to be them.
