Nothing to See Here

Evidently, some are OK with excusing special treatment the rest of us wouldn't get had we left the scene of an accident, given conflicting statements to police, and proven to  be a hazard to others. More than OK-- they're bending over backwards to speculate on mitigating circumstances or blame the other party, which they have no way of knowing about. [More]

That's the point of trials.

I guess when this comes to testimony, we should ignore the important oath he broke and give him the benefit of the doubt on the new oath he will take before repeating what his lawyer coached him to say  -- just like he did in the statement released to the media.
