Evanston aldermen Monday night unanimously adopted a so-called sanctuary city ordinance, pledging to welcome illegal immigrants and not cooperate with federal government efforts to deport them. [More]

    And Houston's mayor and new pd chief (refugee from Austin,left ahead of being fired) assure 'immigrants' they're safe here.
