That would seem to indicate that the issue isn’t “lax gun laws,” at all, as the majority segment of the population behaves remarkably peaceably around all those guns. The implication is what Michael Bloomberg articulated a few years back, when he advocated for cities to enact special race-based disarmament edicts aimed at “minority” males up to age 25. ‘Progressives’ Join Bloomberg in Challenging Fitness of Blacks to Own Guns
Luck o' the Irish
Despite St.Patrick's Day being this month 'n all, wouldn't you rather have a new gun than green beer? [More]
Esau 2.0
Pezeshk said he does not mind President Obama's tougher gun control law on gun shows. "I love that aspect of it because that way I know who the gun is going to," he said. [More]Do you really not get it or are you just looking forward to more $ to run background checks? There's no excuse for either one.
Sell your own birthright out, pal. Don't presume to sell out mine.
Realistically, don't expect him to lose one customer over this.
It's Not What HE Won't Rule Out
It's what WE will. [More]
At that point, I'd feel my time on election day will be better spent fine-tuning things.
It probably will be anyway, but this would be the last straw humiliation and act of cowardice I would not let myself be subjected to.

We're the Only Ones Trained and Experienced Enough
The search warrant executed at Taylor’s apartment cited no evidence of criminal activity there. Instead, in an affidavit to a judge, police argued that they should be able to search for drugs there based on their “training and experience” investigating the drug trade. [More]And we all know how well we can rely on claims of superior training and experience making them the Only Ones professional enough. How do you think this theme got started?

We're the Only Ones Uniform Enough
So, were the LEO's in attendance today at the Veto Ceremony of HB4145 violating any laws? [More]Or if not laws, how about rules regarding using the uniform and badge to promote political issues?
Cases in point, and I know different states have different rules, but I can't help thinking about David A. Kozycki removing his badge and taping over his shoulder patch, or perhaps more to the point, the suspension of Leroy Pyle:
Some police chiefs have attempted to suppress dissenting voices in their department. For example, in San Jose, former police chief Joseph McNamara wrote fund-raising letters for Handgun Control, Inc., on official city stationary, and claimed to represent what "every police officer" believed. In 1989, one of McNamara's officers, a firearms instructor named Leroy Pyle, was subpoenaed by the California legislature and legally required to testify before that body. Officer Pyle did so, on his own time, and out of uniform. The next day, Pyle was suspended from duty, and McNamara attempted to fire him.I'd love to see someone with knowledge on these matters address the points raised by Patrick Moore in the featured article, and then do something about them. Because if there's one group I'd like to see get what's coming to them, it's oath-breakers.

Unlocking a biometric gun safe with a paperclip (VIDEO) [More]And unlocking more with a three-year-old...
So everybody groks why "'childproof' safety caps ... led to a documented increase in child poisonings"...?
Funny, how "for the children" edicts are mandated by Opposite Day "progressives" who claim to represent "common sense gun safety." They're the ones whose propaganda initiatives to outlaw parents training their children in actual safe gun handling and use are amplified by the child jihadist-exploiting Islamic Republic of Iran.
Yeah, I know that sounds unconnected and bizarre, but I'm not making it up.
We're the Only Ones Providing Room Service Enough
A Mesa police officer has been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting of an unarmed man at a hotel two months ago, prosecutors said Friday. [More]You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave...
Who You Gonna Believe, Us or Your Lying Eyes?
The City of Phoenix has "No Guns" signs on its buses that it's not authorized to enforce.
This is from a Yahoo group that I'm not a member of, so the link won't work for you unless you are. Here's how they're saying the city responded to an inquiry about the signs:
What is it about these people and signs?Mr. Jones:
You recently inquired about a sign on our buses. The sign depicts various visuals and is intended to address the improper use of items such as weapons on our buses. Guns are and have been allowed on our buses. It is only when there is misconduct involving guns that the authorities are
notified. We have very few incidents, but the signs are intended to remind passengers that guns must be handled appropriately. We appreciate your concern regarding the rights that we all have in our community. If you see anything on one of our public transit buses that you believe is contrary to what I state here, we want to know. Please feel free to email or call me at the number below.
Thank you again for being a customer in our public transit system and for your concern. Best wishes in everything.

The Blame Game
The seven legislators, on General Assembly letterhead nonetheless, are pressuring the landlord to renege on the lease, using a bunch of concocted lies and distortions, including implying that NOVA Armory would be part of a blackmarket and a “magnet for robbery” ! [More]Ah, the old "she asked for it by dressing that way" indictment and its corollary "she must be a slut to dress that way in the first place" accusation.
Why are we supposed to be "polite" when we contact these contemptible, despot wannabe liars again...?

Handle with Care -- Or Else
I mean, who doesn't think it's "reasonable" for authoritarian government to require PRIOR RESTRAINT ON A RIGHT? [More]
Feel safer yet?
Besides, we've all noticed the epidemic of people who bother to get permits not knowing what happens when you pull a trigger and which end the bullet comes out of.
But hey, just think of all the gangbanger lives this will save!
What? None? They carry regardless?
Lynda Panties-in-a-Waddington also thinks it's "reasonable" to go into a "Please have a badge, please have a badge" meltdown if she encounters an armed citizen. So why not look to the profess... uh ...never mind. At least he had a badge, he had a badge!
Still, I'd hate to see this become another of her columns "picked up, taken out of context and circulated throughout the country."
Who would do a thing like that? And where's the context disconnect?

The Rapists
Oh, I'm sorry, "therapists." [More]
You have to pay WSJ to get the whole article, but I've read enough. Any bets against this summary?
Anti-gun politicians use the anti-gun shrink establishment to infringe on RKBA, all in the nebulous name of "public safety." And once you're on the watchlist, good luck getting off.
I don't see a bill number or an author/sponsor name, nor anything here yet, and a cursory search comes up empty. I just ran across this and already have my priorities for the day calling, so I'll see if a Colorado contact can point us to more details.
UPDATE: This *may* be the bill. If so, it passed the Democrat-dominated House and has been introduced in the Senate, and it looks like two Republicans, Cadman and Scheffel, co-sponsored it with two Democrats. Am I reading this right? Were they the two "excused"votes? If so, what kind of game is being played here?
We shouldn't have to guess, and our "pro-gun leaders," and by that I mean office holders and advocacy groups, should be the first ones getting relevant vital information out to us, rather than forcing inquiring minds to go around, over, under and through gatekeeper paywalls just to find out what's going on in the "people's houses."

A Dime's Worth of Difference
The dispute started when Sanders defended his past support for a bill to help protect gun manufacturers and sellers from lawsuits. He said if gun sellers and makers are held liable in many of these cases, “What you’re really talking about is ending gun manufacturing in America.” [More]Only for us little people. Her Praetorian Guard will still get theirs.
The kind of stuff, by the way, Sanders would also withhold from We the People, so at this point, what difference does it make?
Funny, now tight Opposite Day "Progressive" egalitarians are about sharing power with the proletariat...
