You Can't Stop the Signal

Gun sales surge among gays, lesbians after Orlando shooting [More]
They do know Hillary and the Democrats would rather see them slaughtered than armed..?

Portland Maine’s “Most Romantic Restaurant” to Customers Who Own or Condone Ownership of AR-15’s: You’re Not Welcome Here [More]
Gosh, if a restaurant did that to someone for being gay, they'd be sued into the ground. I wouldn't go there just because they've announced to the world they're a soft target. I hope no one goes in, orders a meal and then informs the waiter they just got a text telling them about the "not welcome"policy.

Tell the owner what you think about her foolish bigotry here.

Yelp, anyone?

It's Only a Failure if You Don't Meet Your Goals

The modern-day massacres are proof beyond a doubt that the government cannot protect us. [More]
He's assuming that's the mission.

Our Nation is at War

Wait a minute-- I thought it was the fault of us gun owners...

Road Rage Intervention

Adrenaline flows as two drivers engage in road rage after one is nearly run off the road. A screaming match ensues at the stop sign and fists are flying. A couple witnessing the two men make a decision to intervene.  [More]

They'll Stop at Nothing to Disarm Us

I have a hard time believing that ginning up "We must do something -- anything!" hysteria is not the intent behind this.

Clinton Tells Secret Service Protection to Stand Down Because They'd Only Make Things Worse

What? He didn't? So his precious woman-abusing @$$ is safe? [More]

Oh, that's right, they're elite "Only Ones."

They sure act like it, don't they?

I do wonder, if Juanita Broaddrick had a gun, would she have made things better or worse?

Let's ask Bill!

Words to Remember

From an email thread I'm included in:
A government that uses IRS audits to intimidate political enemies won't flinch at using the terror watch list to do the same.

But It Could NEVER Happen HERE...

Pro-Gun Control Democrat: “Due Process Is Killing Us” [More]
Manchin again.

Note how the conversation turns to confiscating guns once the list goes active.

War Correspondents

What's going on in the current war is just this absurdly subversive.

Gentleman's Agreement

Senate Democrats ended a nearly 15-hour filibuster early Thursday after Republican Party leaders reportedly agreed to allow votes on two proposed gun control measures. [More]
Who, specifically? And will we see any downgrading of their NRA ratings? Because if we don't, we'll be able to infer they knew they could proceed with cover.

We'll also be able to tell much along those lines after the votes.

This compromising is bullshit. I've written before about how after Sandy Hook, there was a cadre of connected insiders trying to get everyone on board with the "we've got to give them something" preemptive surrender.  Some of us let it be known in closed group correspondence that we'd be pointing fingers and screaming if that happened.

It would appear that same faction is once more counseling that the politically smart thing to do is throw the circling jackals a scrap of flesh to persuade them to go away. You know, just like it happens in nature.

FBI director James Comey doesn't know what legislation would have helped authorities prevent a terrorist attack such as the Orlando shooting, he told senators during a classified briefing Wednesday. [More]

Decoding Andrew Rosenthal

Opposite Day "progressive" smear artist Andrew Rosenthal from The New York Times goes after The Donald for speaking in ways not acceptable to the cultural terraformers, and  presumes himself to be our Trump/English translator. I guess plain speaking and short, direct sentences need to be dissected and explained by our urbane betters, kind of like the Second Amendment. This oughtta be rich. [More]
Let’s be absolutely clear. This is not just about bigotry. The mass arrest and forced movement of large populations has been an instrument of genocide throughout history. That is how the Turks committed genocide against Armenians in the early 20th century, how the United States government decimated some Native American tribes and how Stalin killed millions of his own citizens.
Really? How did they do that?

You know, by doing this first:
Clinton did not mention the simple fact that if we stopped selling guns today, there would still be too many. The only real solution is to reduce the number of weapons in circulation, but no politician, including Clinton, wants to talk about that.
That means we have to keep the goal of confiscation under the table -- for now.

And if you worry about that, or even mention it, you're paranoid. Just ask Andrew Rosenthal:
...nobody is talking about repealing the Second Amendment or taking guns away from ordinary Americans
Hey, I think I've broken the code...

The Chopstick Went Off

"He said in his anger he waved the chopstick in front of his father but before he knew it, it got stuck in him," the officer said. [More]
It got stuck in him.

Sounds like the same kind of excuse we hear when an "Only One" has a negligent dischar... I mean, an "accident."

And it was one of those assault chopsticks, with no legitimate gormandizing purposes.  Isn't it time we did something about chopstick violence? To think that Japan has a chopstick death rate that dwarfs the rest of the world...

It can't be argued that every chopstick owner is law-abiding -- until they're not. Still, for those inclined to demand commonsense chopstick safety laws, we can't forget the truism that anyone who can't be trusted with chopsticks can't be trusted without a hokannin.

When chopsticks are outlawed...
