Newsom fits the profile of someone who can‘t (or won’t) control himself, from cucking his “friend” and campaign manager, to “show[ing] up drunk for the vigil of a mortally wounded police officer.” [More]This is the miscreant who would control you and me, lending credence to the suspicion that those who cannot trust themselves dare not admit that others do not share their pathetic moral defects.

Newsom Obsession with Gun Owner Control Reflects His Own Self-Control Issues
"Shot Show - Psycho Redux"
Host James B. Towle and Lights, Sights and Laser trainer, Wes Doss, along with Illinois senior patrolman and firearms trainer Richard Portwood participate in an open forum discussion with the audience... [More]This week on "Stop the Threat"...
Lead Diggers
Yet, estranged cousins of Lash claim they are the rightful heirs to his estate and they aimed to take action to send a message to lawmakers. They want the 891 guns and 8 tons of ammunition dumped into the ocean or melted down. [More]"Estranged cousins"...? The way I've read about this in other accounts, the assumption was they were named as heirs. This reads that they claim to be heirs.
I was wondering why even "progressives" would turn their noses up at $5M unless they were already extremely wealthy enough to be able to afford such political statements. Now it seems this may just be one way to get hooks into an estate that will be liquidated by court order, and they're trying to crowbar their way into the proceedings while making all kinds of "noble-sounding" noises.
Anybody see any accounts that tell us who these people are? Because I'm smelling opportunistic parasites instead of selfless social justice warriors, although both are pretty rank.

A Qualified 'Success'
California voters will decide in November whether to tighten the state's already tough gun control laws after the secretary of state's office said a proposal exceeded the number signatures needed to qualify for the fall ballot on Thursday. [More]Can you imagine being stupid enough to vote for Gavin Newsom?

What Parasites Do to Hosts
ISIS calls for attacks in Berlin and Brussels to 'paralyse' Europe in wake of Brexit chaos [More]You know what Europe needs?
More "refugees."
We do, too. And anyone who disagrees is a hater and an extremist.
It's kind of fun to watch a sleeping giant awake. I'm just wondering what's being planned to knock it out again. Because this isn't just a matter of the loyal opposition agreeing to disagree.
Would-be total controllers that stop at nothing to achieve their ends will not give up with a handshake and a smile. Note the promise of more death and destruction, and the introduction of the meme that a vote for independence has played right into the terrorists' hands.
Sometimes, the real parasites and terrorists aren't the obvious ones.
Top Gun?

Doesn't she know the attacker will just take the gun away from her? Note how no one ever challenges the fools who say that to demonstrate how?
Too bad her Twitter feed shows her to be a typical lefty.
Fun Times in Cleveland Again
Restrictions on speeches and parades outside next month's Republican National Convention were struck down by a federal judge Thursday as unconstitutional. [More]For anyone planning to immerse themselves in the upcoming festivities, I recommend checking out Google Maps to note man-made and natural obstacles like the river and the lake, and to plan an escape route. Also use the street view feature to see the concrete, glass and steel canyons and dead ends that will keep gas from dispersing and channel stampedes.
Good luck getting parking nearby, and if you do, good luck being able to get out if things go south, which could end up being the only viable direction. I also wouldn't count on CRTA to get me out of there.
There will be loud and hateful disrupters seeking destruction and mayhem, and also targets of opportunity wearing the wrong "colors." And depending on how they're dealt with, we could see the fun spread to other cities.
At least we're not Detroit.
They're with Her
Without making any other value judgment and confining this strictly to probabilities, if these uprising fomenters win, so will Hillary. [More]
Their names will be remembered for that.
And if Trump wins, I expect his "Republican" opponents to be in the vanguard of those loudly fighting his every move. They'll be looking for any excuse to initiate impeachment proceedings, to prove themselves "right" and to reset things back to the Quigley paradigm.

No Fly, No Buy, No Appeal
"No district court of the United States or court of appeals of the United States shall have jurisdiction to consider the lawfulness or constitutionality of this section..." [More]Alan Korwin notes "The people proposing this 17-page tyrannical travesty should be removed from office."
Jeff Flake certainly has lived down to his name.
One question that remains unasked: Why are so many people on the "no fly list" even in this country in the first place?
Brexit Blues
I was riveted to Sky News live reporting last night, watching the back-and-forth in the UK's referendum on whether it would remain in or leave the EU. The surprisingly high turnout kept going back and forth around the 50% mark, but eventually it got to where the separatists were consistently maintaining their slight lead and a pollster noted for the "stay" faction to win, it would need to perform better in remaining districts than projections indicated.
This was a contest between a "progressive"/business alliance and nationalists, similar in many ways to what we see happening here, where "conservative leadership" wants the same globalist open borders as the Democrats. The people who voted to leave want their country back.
I believe sentiments are stronger here. This looks like a bellwether for November.
