Good thing there's an Eighth Amendment is all I've got to say.

  1. Its called "Tire spiking" The green's use it as part of any anti logging campaign. That is what I find interesting about this. They ONLY do this to attack loggers and they always use them with "tree spikes" to make the wood worthless to the lumber Co. and cause the most damage to the loggers trucks/cars/equipment and the USFS. This is the first time I have heard of this kind of attack outside that context and the first time on a hiking trail. False flag? Survivalist? Somebody protecting the "doom bunker/cash"? But it doesn't sound like "earth first" or any of the ECO ya ya's. There isn't any apparent point (punny) to this.

  2. What kind of wacko DOES this kind of thing? This was not something casually accomplished. This took planning and a good chunk of time and effort. What could someone possibly get out of it? Is the trail especially popular with Trump supporters? I totally do NOT get it.

  3. "There isn't any apparent point (punny) to this.”

What was the point of poisoning Tylenol capsules on store shelves? There’s always somebody whose teeth are sending him alien messages. One main reason why nonviolence isn’t conducive to survival.

  4. Respectfully, the POINT to this is TERROR.

Ask yourself how many sandbox immigrant males are recreational joggers,
foot racers / trail runners. Answer: virtually none.

  5. Pardon my overly-suspicious thinking, but...are there any "refugees" being hosted nearby?

  6. Respectfully, sure, perhaps -- it could also just be asshole teenagers who think it's funny to hurt people. Or a sociopath loser. Or...
