"This Does Not Mean Though that This Right is Unlimited'


Sorry, prof -- those free speech restrictions you allude to are not prior restraints. And amending 2A out of the BoR would not change the fact that "[t]his is not a right granted by the Constitution. Neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence."

This isn't the first time I've seen our college hero hand the ball off to the opposing team.

    Infringements? They're not Infringements, they're just restrictions. And inconsequential ones at that. And since we've accepted thousands of them, what's a few more?

    Are none of these legal "scholars" aware of the fact that each state has its own constitution, most of which have their OWN 2nd Amendment?

    Or manage to stumble across the Supreme Court "Dred Scott v. Sandford" opinion ("to keep and carry arms wherever they went", 60 U.S. 393, 416-417 (1857))?

    No examples of 'restrictions' was given either by the good Prof.

    More did he emphasize 'shall not be infringed'.
