When Fisters Attack

All this is to say, to strike is to disrupt in whatever ways we can, the smooth functioning of the systems of domination we find ourselves surrounded by. This can be a railroad blockaded, a freeway shut down, a police vehicle overturned, a neighborhood barricaded to prevent ICE or BP from so much as entering, a caregivers’ strike, or a baseball bat to a klansman or rapist’s kneecap.
We echo some distant accomplices when we say, BE THE FIST YOU WANT TO SEE IN A FASCIST’S FACE. [More]
With "klansmen" and "rapists" being whomever they decide to assault with weapons and potentially lethal force. You know, anyone who's not a raving Marxist tool.

Obviously, Choice One is to avoid trouble if you can.  If you can't, then pre-plan ways to ensure safety, including traveling in groups, scouting, assessing before proceeding, keeping apprised of scanner chatter, making sure communications channels are established and working, and exercising your right to keep and bear arms -- with the obvious caveat that you'd better know what you're doing and be prepared not to make things disastrous for yourself or for non-attackers.

UPDATE: Find an event near you (and act accordingly).

  2. I wonder if these idiots are aware of the fact that Arizona is a CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY state? Specifically that Arizonans may carry concealed WITHOUT a permit, so that increases the likelihood of them running into one of those folks. Given their past actions (of increasing violence over the last few months), I'd say that their behavior is nothing if not threatening to innocent bystanders, much less those with differing points of view. One can't even be around them and wear the "wrong color" ball cap (unmarked or not) without risking life and limb. Sortof like wearing the "wrong color" flannel shirt in Compton, East LA, Anaheim or Santa Ana. You can be attacked for merely being the "wrong color", or even not black or brown enough. Some people, like this mostly-White Cherokee Marshal, don't look "red" enough.

Well, they carried banners at Bezerkley declaring "This Is War". Fine. If they want a "war", then they'd better expect that legally armed citizens just might shoot back in self defense when they start swinging fists or bats and throwing concrete blocks. They apparently have adopted the hoplophobic Left's attitude toward guns, so they will certainly lose. Plain, decent folks are fed up with these pitiful little monsters and their dangerous temper tantrums.

  3. I checked the list and the only chapter in Texas is in Texas' own chunk of Kali - Austin.

I live several miles from downtown San Antonio so we ought to be safe. Think I'll stock up on microwave popcorn to watch the show if anything happens here.
