Endowed by Our CREATION

The Florida Supreme Court says there's nothing wrong with a state law that bans openly carrying handguns.[More]
Of course they did, and here's the crux of the opening "our side" has implicity acknowledged and endorsed by conflating permits with rights:
[T]he Legislature is considering bills this year that would grant that right.

This has been my argument with CCW "permits" the whole time. I have cringed for the past twenty five years as the NRA has cried "Right to Carry!", meaning "right to beg permission, and pay a fee, and get finger printed and photographed like a criminal, etc..."

  3. The cherry on top is that NRA repeatedly uses the phrase “RIGHT to carry PERMIT,” which is on its face an oxymoron, something that anyone who stops and thinks for three seconds or more will immediately realize. Apparently, this is several seconds beyond the attention span of every one of the folks at the top of the food chain in Fairfax.
