I gave up on TV years ago. The people who write, produce and act in TV "dramas" are living in a different world. They can't even conceive of life outside their Hollywood bubble. Anything they create is totally irrelevant to my existence. And I do not appreciate their long-standing efforts to propagandize and indoctrinate their viewers.
ReplyDeleteHave worked in broadcasting for over thirty years, and am still amazed at how quickly an entertainment medium has degenerated into a quagmire of ungodly, amoral mind-pablum. And no, there is no foreseeable way to reverse the trend short of a Stalin-esque "purge".
