We're the Only Ones Aiding and Abetting Enough

Tucson PD Evicts Border Patrol Agents Trying to Catch Illegal Escapee [More]
And what would happen to one of us proles if we impeded and obstructed a federal operation?

  1. I’m prone to let this play out. Tucson has a nasty habit of ignoring laws they don’t like (like the state law saying they have to resell confiscated guns instead of destroying them).

On the other hand, here in Arizona, we have either passed or attempted to pass at least four state laws pledging that the state would not cooperate with certain federal restrictions on guns and drugs, and some of these laws specifically state that feds attempting to enforce their version of government within our boundaries wil be shown the loading gate. The gun bills included locally manufactureed guns not being subject to federal restrictions emanating from the Commerce Clause, and a morotorium on any state gun law or regulation more restrictive than federal law. The principle of local sovereignty is the same (save that Tucson is basing their non-cooperation on a snit as opposed to a duly-passed law).

Now, Tucson progressives and state MSM outlets ridiculed every one of the above gun laws as unconstitutional for violating the Supremacy Clause. Is it obvious yet why the crafty choice is to let the current situation play itself out?
