The Daily Mail article discloses a mine field under consideration by Lindsey Graham, in that an "Anthony Weiner statute" as Comey put it, would turn mere possession of classified information for any reason into the functional equivalent of kiddy porn.

For classified information such as provided to us by Ed Snowden, this would mean that under such a law people like Glenn Greenwald, you, or I, would be damned merely for having seen it because we had to possess it to see it.
There are existing laws designed to punish the mishandling or deliberate unauthorized release of classified information, and they are squarely targetted where they belong: at the people who have signed their name to paper and promised to treat classified information properly. These are people who have been "read in" to classified programs, people such as Hillary Clinton.
