It couldn't possibly be that she wasn't nominated for best director for Yentl and The Prince of Tides because those movies were terrible. Reading the synopsis of those movies was enough to put me to sleep. Actually watching one of those might have put me in a coma.

After reading the article, I was amazed that a woman who has achieved such fame and fortune still seems to consider herself a victim.
