I also don't get:
We do believe he has left the country. We have information to indicate that ... According to officials, Abdullah was sent to the Broome County Jail to wait for arraignment. 
Huh?

There's a lot more to this story than we're seeing here, and I'm afraid there are those with a rigorous agenda and incentive to obscure some particulars.

    I must get some of those 'armor piercing incendiary rounds', but my local gun shop never seems to have those in stock.
