Perez said Ruiz wanted to make a YouTube video of her shooting into a book held to his chest, and he believed the book would stop the bullet ... Perez told investigators she fired a 50 caliber handgun from about one foot away while Ruiz held the book to his chest. [More]

    Unfortunately the Darwin Awards closed up shop a couple of years ago. The website is still there but no new additions are being made. Otherwise this guy Ruiz would qualify. Trying to stop a .50AE round fired from about a foot away with a book surely would qualify.
