    This is nothing new. Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, DC have been letting convicted violent felons join their police departments for 20+ years now.

    The results were predictable, and were predicted:

    Gosh. It's almost as if this were planned. It's almost as if someone decided we had too much "social capital."
