Naked Truth

The thought strikes with all the Weinsteinian charges surfacing, that pressuring "starlets" (a sexist term if ever there was one) into actual sex isn't the only form of abuse by those in power.  How many know their careers will go nowhere if they also don't submit to full frontal nudity and graphic sex scenes as a condition of employment in shows like "Game of Thrones," Westworld" and others...?

Yeah, I know, narcissitic exhibitonists willing to "sleep" their way into the in-crowd are basically whores anyway, but the point here is to monkeywrench a cultural enemy and watch the shark embryos have at it.

Now that the astoundingly hypocritical Lisa Bloom has distanced herself from Harvey, maybe there's a new cause pseudocĂ©lèbre for victimettes she can champion.

  1. Something else Andie McDowell said tripped my memory: "My question is, how far is all this going? What’s next? The truth is, I’m bored with it and I think other people are as well. Yet since when is sex supposed to be boring?"

Where have I heard something like that before? ... Oh, yes. Orwell's 1984, from O'Brien: "...[I]n the future there will be no wives and no friends. Children will be taken from their mothers at birth, as one takes eggs from a hen. The sex instinct will be eradicated. Procreation will be an annual formality like the renewal of a ration card. We shall abolish the orgasm. Our neurologists are at work upon it now. There will be no loyalty, except loyalty toward the Party. There will be no love, except the love of Big Brother." [emphasis added]

Nice to know Hollywood is doing their part to help.
