  3. Now and then a corrupt judge needs scraped off the bench.

    The process is called impeachment and removal...

    The House impeaches and then the [cough, cough] Senate conducts a trial to consider removal.

    It has very r a r e l y happened though.

    Jefferson saw the problem, way back then:

    "Experience has already shown that the impeachment the Constitution has provided is not even a scarecrow."

    The three branches that were to check and balance each other instead embraced corruption...and rather compliment each other.

    Once Rule of Law is lost due to citizen disinterest we get the corruption we deserve...total corruption.

    Alter and abolish is appears to be all that remains as a remedy.

    Since the people are largely corrupt too, it just ain't gonna happen...
