Even now, John Filippidis has no idea how the officer learned about his concealed-carry permit, and the MTAP isn’t saying. [More]This story is a few years old, but I just came across it and it's still relevant because it illustrates yet one more danger of seeking permission for rights.
It also once more illustrates monopoly of violence rule by Opposite Day "progressives" in action -- because nothing says "public safety" like giving elitist sociopathic, oath-breaking thugs a badge and a gun.
See what happened when wifey tried "to be helpful"? I know we shouldn't blame the victims, but good grief.
And no surprise we weren't told "the officer's" name...
Indianapolis cop runs your name, he/she knows cuz it pops up.
