  1. The Miami Herald once printed that a WWII B17 jet bomber was to appear at a local air show. My father in law, a reformed 8th Air Force P51 driver, suggested I make time to go see it, as in his opinion it had to be one really rare bird.

  2. Wing warping or twisting was used by the Wright brothers on their flyer to control bank or roll, part of the concept of three axis control, pitch, yaw and roll.
