Noted Constitutional Scholars


"Television legend" Ed Asner and Ed. Weinberger act like they know best on 2A through cherry-picking, misinterpreting context, misdirection and outright lies. [More]

They do have a partial point, inasmuch as the Militia is all but ignored, but then again, they're not really for that, either. Being useful idiots writing for the useful idiots at Salon, their function is to advance the Opposite Day "progressive" argument that true egalitarian power sharing can only come through ceding a monopoly of violence to the ruling class.

  1. I've known for some time that the Senate had an opportunity to include "for the common defense" but rejected it. That should discredit the faux-scholarship of Salon.
