Presumption of innocence? We ain't got no presumption of innocence. We don't need no presumption of innocence. I don't have to show you any stinking presumption of innocence. |
“Every year in Wisconsin, thousands of people, mostly women, seek help from law enforcement and the legal system, because they believe someone they have a relationship with, may harm them,” Governor Walker said. [More]Or at least they say they do.
And the upshot?
...a procedure for persons prohibited from possessing a firearm under domestic abuse, child abuse, or harassment injunctions to turn over their firearms. If the person does not surrender firearms as required, the court can issue a warrant for the person’s arrest.Without even being charged with a crime, let alone convicted?
With "battle-tested leader in the fight to preserve Second Amendment rights" like these, who needs gun-grabbers?
And nobody dares mention that these women should be making better choices, not wallowing in a "relationship" with someone threatening to harm them.
ReplyDeleteLadies... first, get a life. Become responsible for yourself and your children. And stop whining to the "authorities," expecting them to keep you safe when you won't even lift a finger to help yourself.
Then get a gun and learn how to use it.
Or, if you choose helplessness and death... so be it.
