His involvement of St. Sabina Catholic Church in advocating for anti-gun legislation (and even involving himself in partisan politics) have earned him rebukes from the Church and even a suspension, but they’ve been afraid to replace him, fearing too many parishioners who place a collectivist “social justice” agenda over religion would follow him out the door. And so far, he’s managed to skate by without official scrutiny of his church’s tax exempt status. [More]Snuffy is still going full Pfleger. Never go full Pfleger.

Navajo Nation considers implementing gun registration [More]Shotguns and rifles? And if there were "automatic guns," wouldn't the CLEO have already signed off on them?

Muslim Teen Accepted to Stanford After Writing #BlackLivesMatter 100 Times on Application [More]Assuming the date of his "tweet" has no significance, I haven't been this inspired since Ahmed the Clock Boy.
If that's what it takes to "win," maybe an art contestant can write #ShallNotBeInfringed 100 times on his submission...?

More than 'Reputation' is at 'Risk'
But one thing is clear: Those who prize America’s Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, or who simply appreciate the many benefits of owning firearms, are no longer welcomed within the group’s ranks. [More]Like I said last time we talked about this:
Keep being stupid, fellas.[Via Michael G]
'The Founders Could Have Never Imagined'
But it is not true that repeating arms, which can fire multiple times without reloading, were unimagined in 1791. To the contrary, repeating arms long predate the 1606 founding of the first English colony in America. As of 1791, repeating arms were available but expensive. It's worth asking why the "mommies" and the NC Sheriff's Association are so interested in maintaining the Jim Crow-era pistol purchase permitting system... [More]I guess -- as long as you don't expect an honest answer out of them.
You Can But You Can't
The new law goes into effect immediately, BUT DO NOT CARRY outside your vehicle in Georgia until the Georgia Attorney General shows Virginia permits as being honored on his website. (The Georgia Attorney General is similar to our own Attorney General when it comes to guns and reciprocity. And, like our Attorney General, the Georgia General Assembly has just put him in his place.) [More]What, you mean the guy who was chief of staff for this "staunch defender of the Second Amendment" and appointed as AG by this " steadfast support[er] of the Second Amendment" is against the right of the people to bear arms...?
So I guess the "shall not be infringed" part is also off the table with him?
What the hell did he actually promise to do when he took that oath?

Congressional Art Contest Chance for ‘Young Guns’ to Honor Second Amendment
Why not encourage young people who have been raised to value the importance of the Second Amendment to enter the contest, potentially educate some of their peers, and show that a counter exists to indoctrinated “snowflakes”? Why not urge students to submit art promoting the right of the people to keep and bear arms? [More]Have you raised any high school students who understand the relationship between the right to keep and bear arms and their freedom after you're gone, and who are willing to help counter the control-enabling propaganda of their indoctrinated peers?
