Cry, the Betrayed Country

Those of you who have handed firearms in to the SAPS because your licences have expired would do well to go and retrieve your lawful property as soon as possible. [More]
Once Parliament passes a "proper" edict, we'll know where to go to get it back.

On the Horns of a Dilemma

If they don't get the info, illegal voting and hijacking of the electoral process and resultant political power shifts culminating in the death of the Republic will continue. If they do get it, privacy rights will be violated? [More]

Through all the sound and fury, I'm not seeing much of a discussion  on enumerated powers.

Admitting I'm out of my depth, I'm unclear on what's being matched that's not already known in some form to the feds, like Social Security numbers. I even have mixed feelings about confidentiality of votes-- true, you don't want intimidation, but by the same token, if your public act of voting enables a criminal, you own your share of culpability.

And on the ever-present other hand, any power ceded to Trump will be passed on to his successor...

Even Yul can't help me with this one.

We're the Only Ones Nostalgic Enough

What, return to this?

Wayne and Chris will be more than happy to stand with them against the portion of the gun owner rights community that knows better.

Silent Running

“It’s not surprising,” David Codrea, an author and firearms blogger, said in an interview. “There is a prominent police presence in the NRA and on its board. It’s a source of revenue and gravitas.  [More]
In other words, those holed up in Fairfax ain't about to rock that boat on something as potentially disruptive to access and to the bottom line as gun owner rights.

So it's not about "racism" per se, even if the effects of silence result in injustices. And those motivated to insist otherwise are enabled by a familiar pattern of the top brass hiding and hoping it will all blow over.

Premature Emasculation

A Jacksonville man accidentally shot himself in the penis early Friday morning when he sat on a gun in the driver's seat of his car, police said. [More]
What a ridiculously amateurish thing to do.  Stand back and let a trained professional show you how to do it properly.

Help Wanted, Inquire Within

It appeared to be a jobs flier, promising to "make you rich if you join us." Then it continued, "we are killing off the entire evil white race by making them addicted to cocaine, crack, spiked marijuana, spice, meth, heroin, hash, and other poisons, to kill them." [More]
I will not be surprised to find collectivist whites behind this.

Budding Ammosexual White Animal Murderer Commits Specist Hate Crime

Armed 11-year-old boy saves fishing party from charging bear [More]
And of course the MILMs would rather he and those he saved had been mauled and eaten to death than armed. I mean, what kind of irresponsible adults would not drill into their children the importance of zero tolerance, and of otherwise not even thinking about guns?

Goats have kids. Raise cubs.

Putting Quotation Marks Around 'Patriot' for a Reason

The III% (or "threepers" as they're also known) take their name from an American paramilitary group that organized after Barack Obama was elected president in 2008. [More]
No, that's not accurate.

But it should surprise no one that they're being portrayed as the bigger threat by those whose plans don't include nationhood.

Six families who own cottages next to Chris Christie's private beach were ordered to leave their homes under threat of ARREST while the governor lounged in the sun [More]
"Own"?

Do they "lease" the land?

Not that it would excuse the overall royal arrogance, but I'd be interested in seeing the terms of the leases and if they knew or should have known what they were getting into.

It appears this article was written with an agenda in mind.

The Most Trusted Name in Extortion

"This is a very full-throated I think genuine honest apology. He has also asked we not reveal his name or whereabouts and we at CNN are honoring that," the co-host also said. [More]
Do what we say or we'll follow through on the doxing? And the hell with how that affects your personal and professional life?

"Full-throated ... genuine honest..."

Didn't those who forced Galileo to recant say something like that?

And Chris Cuomo and Alisyn Camareto consider not going through with the blackmail threat once their demands have been met to be "honoring" something?

They just can't stop with the fake news, can they?

Still, it does show they can find stuff out when they want to.

Honest reporting on it is another matter altogether.

The New Black

On the issue of Second Amendment rights, what better characters to fan the flames of nonsense than the Hollywood Left, like actor Michael Ian Black, who thinks the NRA might be a terrorist organization. [More]

I'm sure a "Take Over China" campaign featuring faces of the Dalai Lama and Chiang Kai-shek would be allowed to go viral, too, right, Sean Davis?

How about it, Jingjing? Chacha...?

By the way, despite all the self-promoting bluster and some buzz among the paid flacks,  the stunt appears to have gone more unnoticed than "viral."
