    David,

    The author, Carol Swain, is an actual victim of the hateful SPLC, so I'll giver her a pass.

    Certainly, the comments published indicated readers are at least thinking about the real SPLC.

    I do like her prescription:

    A strong case can be made to strip the SPLC of its nonprofit, tax-exempt status.

    Congress and the media need to take a fresh look at the SPLC. It no longer serves the public interest.
