  1. I can't join any Dick's Sporting Goods boycott because I haven't set foot in one of their stores since they last "stepped in it" post Sandy Hook. Bottom line is that Dick's is no friend of gun owners or the Second Amendment. Never has been. Never will be.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

They can file Chapter 11 any time they're ready. Good riddance as far as I'm concerned.

  2. THIS is the point that amazes me: I thought that most major businesses had some kind of financial consultants and marketing strategists who helped them plot their courses.... am I wrong? I mean, even ( as my old Uncle Walter used to say) a one eyed halfwit would know that gun owners do not simply ride their jacked up four wheelers down from their mountaintop shacks to buy a gun at Dicks, then leave until they want another. People who buy guns also buy outdoor and indoor sports equipment, clothing, hunting and fishing items, camping goods, footwear... so how bright do you have to be, to say, "hmmm.... you know, if we piss off those gun people, they might not come in to buy other stuff any more..."
