In the days of my youth, when Greater Miami's sewage was sorta treated at the Virginia Key plant then dumped into the Atlantic Ocean, it wasn't that uncommon to hear something like this from the next blanket on the beach:
"Daddy, will you please blow this up?"
"Put that down! It's nasty! Now go wash your hands!"
