ReplyDeleteGreat catch-phrase. Pleas keep using it.
You folks should try visiting Greater Miami. Just don't drive down here. Our residents drive like they did back home. That's as in "back home in Mexico, or Guatemala, or Honduras, or the Dominican Republic, or Venezuela, or Colombia or ......"
ReplyDeleteThe problem is, every one of those ethnic groups drives by a different set of unwritten assumptions about what the other driver is going to do. The result is confusion and carnage.
Just take a cab wherever you go and you'll be fine.
And if by chance you visit the seat of the Miami-Dade County government, the Steven P. Clark Center, don't bother trying to speak English to anyone unless they look African American.
In the mean time, welcome to Miami, the Capital of Latin America!
