Heads we win, tails you lose: It doesn't appear that they decided to arrest based on the coin flip. It appears they thought it was a borderline case and agreed to decide it with a coin flip, but when the driver won the coin flip, one of the cops changed her mind and wanted to make the arrest anyway.
They think she was going 80, but don't know how fast she was really driving. And they told her she was reckless because it had rained earlier that day. SMH
I read good advice once that said if you have to flip a coin to decide what to do, just before you look at the coin, evaluate which way you are hoping it will come up, and then do whatever that was. Sounds like this chick follows the same advice.
