Here’s what Missouri Influencers have to say about gun control and gun rights [More]Who is it this gaggle of self-important subversives is supposed to be influencing besides useful idiots unaware that the "common ground" to be found with those demanding disarmament is generally first dug up and then filled in.
That's what happens when rights are voided based on time and place.
I'm beginning to see the significance of "The Star."

I live in Mid Missouri and I'd like to report that I'm not influenced at all.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I posted in response to the piece in the KC Star:
ReplyDeleteThought experiment: let's imagine that the legislature was somehow convinced to pass a law "requiring full background checks for private gun purchases". How would you propose to ENFORCE such a law? Purchase made through a FFL holder already involve a background check. If one private citizen wishes to exchange money or other valuable property for another private citizen's firearm, who, aside from the two consenting adults invilved, will know about it? What do you plan to do? Require ALL firearms be registered with the state? And exactly how do you plan to enforce THAT?
Exactly how do you propose to enforce ANY allegedly "common sense gun regulation" when you cannot even enforce BASIC TRAFFIC LAWS such as stop or yield signs?
