Use of Force

A teaching assistant at the University of Utah tried to create a “Second Amendment zone” in a classroom, forcing students who legally carry to stand in a tiny, taped-off area with no desk during class. [More]
"Forcing"?

First of all, how did he know? And no one refused and took the seat of his choice? No one made a deal of it then and there, dared him to enforce it and put in an immediate call to the administration ... in front of the class and on speakerphone?

And what's the douchebag's name?

  1. All I know about the name is that it's "Ms".

Funny how she thinks that it's highly offensive for students to obey the law, and perfectly OK for her to violate it.

If she'd done that to me, not only would I have sued her, (and offered to sue the department if she remained in its employ), I would have sent out a 1000 letters to the heads of that department at other schools warning them of what she did.

My goal would be to prevent her from ever again holding a position of power over students in this country.

Take particular note of the totalitarian who argued in the comments, “If we can restrict the First Amendment on campus, we can restrict the Second.” It’s like 1934 is applying for a do-over. 30 years from now, a lot of “progressives” are going to be stammering just as post-war German civilians did when asked, “Why did you choose to follow?”
