It's tempting to just ask whose boot you'd rather have on your neck. But the reality is, anyone caught not playing by the rules will be made an example of, so noncompliance is not a decision to make lightly.

Whether permits will prove to be a gateway to "Constitutional carry" or a trap waiting to be closed when the time and majorities are right remains to be seen. In the interim, yeah, it comes down to the boots.

Let Florida continue its "progression" to "blue" and that (and more) won't be offered for debate.
