Words fail to express the helpless sympathy all decent people should feel for this young man’s parents. That said, their torture is no claim against the rights of others, which is what the way they are channeling their grief makes. [More]Grief does not entitle "survivors" to attack the rights of others.
A corollary to this is that any law named after a victim (e.g., "Megan's Law") will almost certainly turn out to unduly and unexpectedly criminalize the innocent.

ReplyDeleteI don't get it. Didn't he have a right to terminate himself, doesn't he have any right to privacy in such a personal matter. It's his body and he has every right to what he has done. Explain how this is wrong and abortion is right when he took his own life and the abortion took the life of an innocent that didn't want to die. See what happens when the Godless liberals get a little power.
