The Law is What We Say It is

... Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto held a press conference to propose a trio of anti-gun city ordinances that, if enacted, would constitute a direct violation of Pennsylvania’s state firearms preemption law and Pennsylvania Supreme Court precedent. [More]
There will be no justice until those violating the law are arrested, prosecuted and punished.

Do such teeth for personal accountability exist, and if not, why not?

  1. Eight years ago I filed a Pro Se criminal complaint against a Pennsylvania borough for violating the commonwealth's Preemption law. The borough withdrew the newly created gun ordnance. In the meantime the district attorney, another "Republican", refused to charge the law-breaking politicians. His reasoning: He didn't want to punish them with 7 years in state jail for "....trying to do good."

I have little use for Democrats or Republicans. They are all scoundrels.
