Trump open to letting Dreamers 'morph into' citizens [More]I guess we need to wait until Monday to find out what he has in mind, and later to find out if this is really a sellout or just a political bargaining tactic. I've stopped pretending I know what he's thinking.

Mighty Morphin' Voter Dangers

The Self-Defense Menace
Right-to-carry laws lead to more violent crime: Isn’t that a huge surprise? [More]It would be if it were true.
I note the study itself requires a fee to access --
I'll be interested in seeing John Lott's take on this supposed proof of a "causal relationship." In the mean time, my approach will be to consider the source.

Mutual Interests
“I think [E-Verify] is not being pushed precisely because members of Congress know it will work,” said Jenks. “I think that is exactly the reason it’s not being pushed. Democrats, for sure, don’t want mandatory E-Verify because they know it will discourage illegal immigration, which will discourage the push for the next amnesty. And, let’s face it, the establishment Republicans don’t want it because they know it will be effective and eliminate their cheap labor pools.” [More]The common ground between the electoral terraformers and the Groverians...
Good thing this has nothing to do with that "single issue."

Coincidence
James Dolan co-created the technology that permitted WikiLeaks to acquire and publish the leaked DNC and Podesta emails, was found dead at 36 years old, ruled a “suicide.” His death comes nearly five years after the “suicide” death of his friend, and co-creator (and Reddit co-founder) Aaron Swartz. [More]And that one was happenstance.

We're the Only Ones Loosely Anchored Enough
An agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is facing federal charges after a Wichita television news anchor told local police that he was sending her sensitive law enforcement material and text messages that were sexual in nature, newly released court documents show. We're the Only Ones Making Quite a Splash Enough
In the course of the fight, someone threw a beer at Norris. She in turn threw a beer at the person who threw it at her. [More]So can the rest of us get drunk and disorderly, and trust that the police response will be to reduce our paid "vacation" time by two days?
Let's ask Daniel Shaver.
Oh, that's right, we can't.
Let's ask Philip Mitchell Brailsford.

What, you didn't know that aliens in Africa were mining gold to repair the ozone layer with nanoparticles in 450,000 B.C.? (Yeah, I know that doesn't line up with "200,000 years," but best we don't bring that up.)
Speaking of history, I'm reminded of how my wife got points taken off a college paper, and that was decades ago. So the claims of paradise lost have been around a while.
And we know who destroyed it all, because they're evil and racist and fascist and everything, but the question is how Europrimitives would do that. War canoes of blue-painted savages paddling their way over oceans to raid, sack and burn an advanced civilization hardly seems plausible. Perhaps they were imported and given a pathway to citizenship? Is Bambadjan just returning the favor?
I expect a significant portion of the Black Panther audience to buy into the advanced culture delusion. I bet if you set up a fake online agency, you could sell all kinds of travel packages before getting caught.
There's an intent here. And somehow, I don't think those behind it really have the best interests of the people they're pretending to exalt in mind.

Probably the Most Honest Thing They've Ever Done
Alienation
Illegal aliens charged into pro-amnesty Sen. Thom Tillis’ (R-NC) Senate office on Capitol Hill demanding an immediate amnesty for all 12 to 30 million illegal aliens living in the United States, hurling insults in the process. [More]Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Well, it could to one.
Why Sra. Entitled Loudmouth couldn't have immediately been escorted to the border is beyond me.
Anyway, keep alienating. More people waking up can't hurt.
Kentucky School Shooting Prompts Usual Calls for Redundant and Futile New Laws
That means before he ever fired a shot he broke laws to possess the handgun, to transport it, and to bring it onto school grounds. And it’s already a felony in Kentucky for an adult and/or parent to “intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly” provide or permit a “juvenile to possess a handgun.” [More]All kinds of so-called "commonsense gun safety laws" were ignored and the shootings took place in a "gun-free zone," where defenselessness is mandatory for non-"Only Ones."
