They Say Breakfast is the Most Important Meal of the Day
We're the Only Ones Dropped Enough
A judge who was caught on video apparently dropping a handgun in a Chicago courthouse has been acquitted of carrying a concealed weapon in a prohibited area. [More]I'm sure you and I would have been afforded the same courtesies, including having the deputies turn a blind eye.
No?
Vacation, All They Ever Wanted
A federal judge tore into the government Monday for trying to vacate court orders that denied privilege over records on the botched gun-running operation known as Fast and Furious. [More]"Botched"!
And the real outrage here is, Sessions was one of the early crawfishers on protecting the whistleblowers. That and House Oversight seems to be falling back into deliberate indifference mode.
But they got the documents they needed and settled, right? No big deal?
I didn't think so at the time. And still don't.
There is so much left to be uncovered.

A 'Progressive' Paradox
This One is Just Right...
The Court would be wise to defer ruling on the first petition presented to it, instead biding its time until one of the other petitions in the pipeline lands in the Court — and presents the question more ably and cleanly. [More]I guess, and we have seen some ill-thought out efforts in the past, but still: What the hell is so hard about "Shall not be infringed"?
And why am I suddenly reminded of this...?

Jeff Cooper Videos
I know some stuff has been downloaded to YouTube and hope yesterday's post does not step on anybody's copyright toes. If you want Cooper training videos, I recomment paying for value received from an authorized source, like these.

The New Talking Point
Speaking of Armed Guards in Schools
Thousands of guards equipped with tear gas, Tasers, stun guns and spiked clubs keep tight control over "students" in facilities ringed with razor wire and infrared cameras, according to the documents. The centres should "teach like a school, be managed like the military, and be defended like a prison", said one document, quoting Xinjiang's party secretary Chen Quanguo. [More]Who says "progressives" are against them?
The Invaders
Literally...shutdown the US Ports of Entry with Mexico to ALL traffic and pedestrians until Mexico gets a handle on this; Stop ALL foreign aid to Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico until they demonstrate where the hell our money is going we send them for building their economy and infrastructure. Post military assets along the entire border, with BP arrest teams, and ERO transportation. Set up family detention camps around the country to house anyone to enters illegally or claims asylum; fast track asylum and deportation hearings with onsite immigration judges; IMMEDIATELY remove from this country all frivolous asylum claims and deportation orders.WarOnGuns Correspondent Wynn A sends this with the notation that it is by retired Border Patrol Agent David Ward. Unfortunately, I cannot access the private Facebook group where this appears, so he copied it word-for-word.
I'd go a step further: I wouldn't let them set one foot on U.S. soil, would have the guards block them right at the border and treat every attempt to push past as a criminal assault that disqualifies them from asylum and assures deportation. They won't just get processed and released with an immigration hearing date they have no intention of keeping. And make sure that's communicated in no uncertain terms wellin advance of breach attempts.
I'd also take the expense for all this out of moneys the enabling governments siphon from this government. And start the conversation on why we give a dime without getting equal value in return.
I know some would go several steps further than that, but the reality is the appropriate response of stopping them on the Mexican side using an escalating continuum of force up to and including lethal would result in catastrophic unintended (and intended by some) consequences.
Unless you're ready to go to war now...

The Heartbreak of Trump Derangement Syndrome
Former Bush 41 Official Suggests President Trump is Worse Than Hitler... [More]He also says "The Republican Party needs to die," and that he was wrong and now "thinks" tax cuts are bad for the economy.
And he wonders why his old colleagues now avoid him?

A Subjective View
“For me, those are commonsense decisions that do not diminish anyone’s right to bear arms,” Abrams said. [More]For you.
How many lives are you willing to see destroyed to make them so?

FTP: F the 'Progressives'
“A firearm, over 200 rounds of ammunition, a Kevlar vest, a 100-round high-capacity magazine, and a detailed plan of attack were also discovered in the possession of the subject,” the police announced. After obtaining a search warrant to examine Jarrell’s digital history, they said they’d also discovered he had recently researched how to carry out a school shooting. [More]So naturally, on his Facebook page (and grab it while it's still up), we see:
all trump supporters idolize this prick. That's from a guy whose own Facebook profile says:
I like long walks, cuddling, camping, or just staying home and cooking. no sympathy or rights 4 NazisYou know, me. And you if you agree with me. We don't have rights. Because we're "haters."
Thing is, "FTP" is all over the mutt's page:
They apparently sell "FTP" stuff. From L.A. And their "target" clientele is hardly limited to white racists:
"FTP" has multiple uses, and guess who else uses it?
So we who advocate for Liberty have created this?
Jeez, here I thought I was getting a simple link to a low-hanging fruit post. Pull a thread and you never know what will unravel.
