This is what we expected but it still doesn't start the clock. As to the purported exclusive memo going to FFLs and LEOs, I haven't located one, Bear hasn't located one, and the reporter who broke the story to great fanfare has responded to our requests to post the memo thusly:


I won't judge because there could be a family emergency for all I know, but will note a simple text to the station asking to make the doc public would have taken the same amount of time for her to send, and the station itself could (and should) do it on its own.

Since the gov has clammed up, at this point the story is identifying KSTP's source. Is it out of line to wonder if DOJ is trying to figure that out, too?
