If someone is on a government list -- such as receiving welfare benefits or rental subsidies -- then they would be automatically registered to vote ... H.R. 1 also mandates that states allow all felons to vote. [More]At least they're admitting who their core constituencies are.

Originally only landowners were allowed to vote; the theory being that only people with "skin in the game" should be allowed to decide the rules of the game.
ReplyDeleteI believe it's time to revive that notion. If you're on welfare and a net recipient of government aid, then you do not get a a vote on how much more you want to suckle from the government's teat.
But that's just me.
Hey! Don't forget us chickens on the No-Fly List and FBI's Top Ten!
ReplyDeleteI agree, anonymous and I would go one step further and add any government employee at any level, city, county, State and federal you do not get to vote.
