'A True Conservative'

I've never heard of this @RadioFreeTom character, but apparently, he's a f***ing liar or something. [More]

  1. I think this is the same man. From Wikipedia:
Tom Nichols (born 1960) is an academic, author, international specialist, and policy advisor. Nichols is a professor at the U.S. Naval War College and at the Harvard Extension School. A prominent expert on Russia, nuclear weapons, and national security affairs, he is a member of the Board of Contributors at USA Today, contributor to The Washington Post, and the author of seven books. He was previously a fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.[3] He has also worked for Republican Senator John Heinz as personal staff for defense and security affairs.[3]He is also a five-time undefeated Jeopardy! champion.

    And:
After the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States, Nichols announced on October 7, 2018 that he would leave the Republican Party and become an independent, claiming that Senator Susan Collins' yes-vote on the confirmation convinced him that the Republican Party only exists for the exercise of raw political power.[11] He also criticized the Democratic Party for being "torn between totalitarian instincts on one side and complete political malpractice on the other" and said that the party's behavior during the Kavanaugh hearings, with the exception of Senators Chris Coons, Sheldon Whitehouse and Amy Klobuchar was execrable, but the Republicans have become a threat to the rule of law and constitutional norms.

So we're dealing with a real Dumbo here. Just the association with USA Today and WaPo is enough to disqualify him, in my opinion.
