‘What a damn monster’! Kirsten Gillibrand’s getting roundly shredded for this ‘horrific’ take on the opioid crisis [More]
I generally dont wish serious, permanent, painful & debilitating injuries on anyone, but I think that Kirsten is an exception.
I particularly loved the reaction to "no one needs (x) for (y)". I wonder if we can find any parallels, perhaps in kirsten's other proposals. Bonus question: will any pill popping mommies recognize the hypocrisy when we change the x and y values?
Wow, all that criticism sure came out of left field. The formula of “no one NEEDS a for ” always worked gangbusters for Gillibrand before.
I am reminded of this quote (and am very sorry I did not think of it first):Why did Rosa Parks "need" to sit in the front of the bus? In a free society no demonstration of "need" is required to exercise a right.I also wish I could remember to whom this quote should be attributed.
