This is why I left the Episcopal Church. They have completely forgotten the words of Jesus: "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and render unto God that which is God's." And no, Jesus wasn't simply referring to taxes but to the entire relationship between Christians and the State on the one hand, and Christians and God, on the other.
