    When someone, anyone, suggests we start a conversation on the Second Amendment, it tells me that they are either unaware that just such a conversation has been ongoing for at least the last 60 years or are prepared to dismiss it out of hand because it hasn't achieved the goals they desire.

    Either way it makes it difficult for me to take seriously any further comments they might make.
